Houston Texans - Week 15 Analysis

Well, you're probably in the playoffs now and, if so, you probably don't have ANY Houston Texans on your team (except for me, I have their defense). If you do, god help you.
The Texans play a very good defense this week in the Baltimore Ravens, even though they have been depleted by injuries to their two main starters (McCrary and Lewis). The Texans managed to win last week with less than 50 yards TOTAL offense. That's pretty hard to do. Not the winning part...getting less than 50 yards total offense. This week isn't going to be pretty either, so avoid the Texans like the plague. Seriously...go get that smallpox vaccine as soon as you can.
Quarterbacks
David Carr had an absolutely miserable outing last week, but it is hard to pass when you are busy making grass angels all day with a 300 pound defensive lineman on you. The Texans HAVE to address their offensive line woes in the offseason...drafting a couple of stud rookie lineman won't help in the short term, and Carr's mileage will start to take a toll on him. Well, for this week expect at least a couple of INTs for this young stud in the making, and possibly more rushing yards than passing yards for him this week.
David Carr - 100 yards passing, 0 TDs; 30 yards rushing, 0 TDs
Runningbacks
These guys suck more than a girl at a bukkake party. The offensive line is the cause of most of their woes, but the runningbacks are pretty much crappy on top of that. Capers and Casserly have both said publically that they don't feel that a runningback is a top priority in next year's draft, which may be lipservice or their medication. They may be planning on a major offseason move, which would piss off Fred Taylor and Stephen Davis owners like myself in keeper leagues.
James Allen - 20 yards rushing, 0 TDs; 20 yards receiving, 0 TDs
Jonathan Wells - 10 yards rushing, 0 TDs; 0 yards receiving, 0 TDs
Wide Receivers
Bradford, Gaffney and Dawson look pretty solid for the future, but experts keep prediciting that the Texans will draft a stud WR this year to give Carr the big weapon that he needs. Bradford, as I've said before, has proven to be a great #2 WR but definitely not a go-to-guy. Gaffney and Dawson will duke it out for the #3 slot next year, and I like Dawson in that battle. Gaffney is quick and athletic, but is more of a utility player than anything else.
Corey Bradford - 3 catches, 30 yards, 0 TDs
Jabar Gaffney - 1 catch, 10 yards, 0 TDs
JaJuan Dawwon - 2 catches, 10 yards, 0 TDs
Billy Miller - 4 catches, 30 yards, 0 TDs
Overall, I expect a low-scoring game...
