I just pulled Brad Johnson out of my starting lineup in favor of Jake Plummer. We start two QB's in the GBRFL. My other starter is Brian Griese. What do you fellas think? Right move or not? Just so you know all the facts, one of the reasons I did this was because I perceived them to be about equal this week and playing Jake gives me something to root for during today's games. Otherwise, I would have absolutely nothing else going on for me today to cheer about or no players of mine to cheer on.
Given that Brad has a bad back, and that he will probably be a game time decision (note: he didn't practice this week), I think Plummer is the safe way to go. Should also be a good play against a weakend SF secondary.
I think you made the right move. I wouldn't take a chance on an injured QB at this point in the season. Plummer isn't the greatest, but at least you know he'll play the entire game. Good luck.
Steg, I am sorry! I really thought I responded with a witty comment about you FINALLY comming to your senses on BJ. I really did. ???
I do think this would be too risky of a week to start BJ, so you're in good shape. Plummer for a superbowl championship doesn't sound right on the surface, but he is pretty steady points.
Tough choice, Jake did come alive last week, and he is healthy and starting, so what the hell, if it gives you comfort for today's games then by all means DO IT!
