"Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" - Week 17

Week 17
Think I got a neat idea for another participatory thread here at "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone PRIMED Players for the Week"). I am calling it "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player for the week, the one that was key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this!  You can expect this to be up every Tuesday from here on out!

As for me, well, a CHAMPIONSHIP has been had!  I really benefitted from that 11 - 1 start I had. I somehow managed to hold on to First Place from Week 3 on even though I went 8 - 9 after that 11 - 1 start.  Whew!  As a result of being in First Place going into our Week-17 "Bumper Week," I had to play the teams in Second Place and Last Place, and as I was two games ahead, I only had to win one of those two games to secure the Championship... Thank God... I have been backing into this Championship since about Week 10, and in such fashion, I lost to the Second Place team. BUT, I beat the Last Place team, a game which was a gift of that 11 - 1 start! 
As for game balls, I am giving five in all, four of them... on offense... to the four guys who scored touchdowns for me, which I really needed this week, in particular, as my yardage totals were pretty paltry: Steve Beuerlein, Jake Plummer, Curtis Martin and Rod Smith. HOWEVER, the main game ball is going to the "unit" that really ensured me of a Championship... my Denver Broncos Defense and Special Teams. I actually had concerns that they were going to have a let-down against Arizona, but they refused to let me down! They even made it a point to pick off Josh McCown and not Plummer. I could not have scripted it better!
Anyway, I am on my way with the troops to Disneyland!  Ticker-tape parade in the Big Apple on the morrow!

Guys,
This is VERY belated, but I wanted to thank all who participated in the "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week" threads week in and week out, making them yet another trademark of "the Gridiron". Great job! Expect to see this back again next season (if someone wants to do this for the playoffs, have at it). Now, go have a cold one on me...
