Stegs trade post caused me to wonder who will be the Qb in Sea. in o3.  Hasselbeck put up serious numbers later on in the season but I have heard nothing about Dilfer.  any one have the info?

Holmy is no longer the GM in SEA. I do think that he realizes though that it nice to have solid backups in that area now. I think they will keep both. Dilfer signed a 4 yr deal for like 3-4 M a year, so his price is reasonable and may take a pay cut.
Hassy on the other hand hit incentive clasues and will get a raise next year. The team can opt for a 1, 2 or # yr extension on him. I think the will carry him for 3 more yrs. He has taken a bit longer to develop, but has skills.
I think there will open competition for the starting job next year.
If you have 1 of them i would go get the other. Dilfer will be the cheaper of the 2 IMO.

They'd be stupid of not starting Hasslebeck.

Same situation in St.Louis with Bulger and Warner. Warner came back from injury, started, stunk the place up, and ruined the StL "playoff run" they were having.

I don't think Holmgren and Seattle are as stupid as the so-called genious, Mike Martz...
