Okay, I did the QB's now lets go for the RB's... 1. Priest Holmes (even with the hip injury scare, gotta take him #1) 2. Ricky Williams (will continue to be a workhorse) 3. Clinton Portis (can he repeat?) 4. LaDanian Tomlinson 5. Marshall Faulk ( I sense a comeback here) 6. Duece McCallister 7. Tiki Barber (underrated, but coming on) 8. Shawn Alexander 9. Travis Henry (underrated as well, could come on strong) 10. Ahman Green (knees scare me) Best of the rest: Corey Dillon, Jamal Lewis, Curtis Martin, Charlie Garner, Stephen Davis, Anthony Thomas, Duce Staley, Michael Bennett)

This is my Top 10 based on Fantasy Stat productivity for 2002 year, age, and team. I'm not going to factor in injuries because anything can happen... 1)Priest Holmes- Was one game away of tying Faulk's record. Was two games away from breaking it. 2)Deuce McCalister-Two straight disapointing years for New Orleans, now the "youngins" are grown and will get it done. 3)Ricky Williams- Stellar season, an old o-line, but still very good. 4)Ladanian Tomlinson- I have my worries about the SD o-line, nonetheless, LT doesn't dissapoint. 5)Marshall Faulk- How did he get this low? 6)Clinton Portis- I don't think he will go through a "sophomore slump." 7)Ahman Green- Has come into his own in both the running and recieving game. 8)Jamal Lewis- Baltimore is going to be a much improved team next year, many people were able to snatch up Ja from FA wire last year, don't be foolish and not draft him this year. 9)Travis Henry- He's a "tweener" not sure if he can have the same season he did last year. 10)Michael Bennet- Does anyone remember his last 5 or 6 games? I do... I hope no one else does come draft day. Best of the rest: Shaun Alexander, Corey Dillon, Tiki Barber, RON DAYNE(If Traded), Amos Zeroue(So long Jerome), Charlie Garner

Well, Philly, I am going to beg to differ... at least a little... 1. LaDainian Tomlinson (in a year that I thought he would regress, he progresses and shows versatility) 2. Ricky Williams (same prediction 2 years in a row... I see no reason for a drop-off) 3. Deuce McCallister (got the all-around game goin' on... he could be Faulk/Priest-like) 4. Priest Holmes (upgrade, possibly to #1, subject to improved health) 5. Clinton Portis (he's the next in line) 6. Marshall Faulk (just drops out of the Top-5... injuries and team, read Martz, scare me) 7. Jamal Lewis (first year after torn ACL ... he's shown he can catch too) 8. Shaun Alexander (team is comin' on and he SCORES) 9. Tiki Barber (undeniable) 10. Ahman Green (Green Bay scares me next year... they're gonna' be playin' a lot of catch-up) 11. Edgerrin James (from tops in the league to "off the charts", ) 12. Curtis Martin (don't count the ole' guy out... he started out '02 with a BAD injury) 13. Travis Henry (not flashy, but in a good offense that should get better) 14. Corey Dillon (weaknesses - TD's, passing catching, TEAM) 15. Charlie Garner (hell, he'll be all that's left back there) 16. Michael Bennett (TD's remain a liability that is not going to go away, read Robert Smith) 17. Fred Taylor (great back, showed he can stay healthy, but going to be on a brutal team) 18. William Green (he's selling me on himself slowly but surely) 19. Marcel Shipp (guy's the real deal; can he survive the curse that is the Cardinals?) 20. Stephen Davis (fresh and should be raring to go wherever he winds up)

| *gasp* Don't do that. I wasn't completely serious there. If I had to post a new list today, without referring to the one I posted yesterday, it would probably be completely different. I haven't done any work for next season yet (i.e., research, rankings, etc.) so that was more of a hunch than anything else.

As I have now brought up on two other threads, for whatever it's worth, Fanball's Rick Kamla and I are on the same page once again, this time regarding RB Ahman Green. I have a REAL BAD feeling about Ahman Green and the whole Packers team for next season. I think they were WAY overrated this year and are in for a rude awakening next, and with Brett Favre looking like he is thinking more about retirement than the playbook these days... well... it is not a good sign. Anyway, here is what Kamla wrote: Sadly, I get the feeling Ahman Green is the second coming of Chris Warren. At least Rick had the balls to not even rank him. I did not. I think it is too early to be moving Ahman out of your Top-10, BUT Kamla's move is a bold one that I think is pointing in the right direction. No guts, no glory! I even went and traded Ahman away earlier this offseason in a deal that shocked many in the league. Here is a link to the thread on which I announced the trade: http://www.fantasyfootballer.com/cgi-bin/theGridiron/YaBB.cgi?board=55;a ction=display;num=1041551934 And, here is a link to Kamla's January player-rankings piece: http://www.fanball.com/article.cfm/ID.1181.
