I really am not thinking about making this deal, but I wanted to see what you guys thought about this trade. Marshall Faulk for Deuce McAllister.

Personally, NO WAY! Faulk is winding down, while McCallister is just getting started! Granted you can't go wrong with either one of the two. You have to always think ahead in keeper leagues though! Just my 2 cents..........

I agree with all of you, but I told him I would post it on site to so he could get some feedback. I counter offered him J.Lewis for Faulk, but since we play in the same division, the thought of seeing Deuce and Faulk twice a year was to much for him to handle.

Actually, ZAGS, in my opinion and 1) depending on how deep of a keeper league you guys are (which right at this moment is fleeting me) and 2) depending on what other backs he has or expects to have, if I were him, I would do it. Lewis, I firmly believe, is on the verge of a HUGE season. As for concerns about his knees, whatever... think Terry Allen or Robert Smith. Unless the injury is degenerative, like Terrell Davis's was, I think with the technology these days, these guys' knees are even stronger after the (ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL) surgery and, thus, less likely to incur re-injury. I think the stuff that they replace actual ligaments with is stronger than the ligaments themselves. ZAGS, I am inferring that you got McCallister and Lewis here. I would just sit tight and enjoy the ride! (Disclaimer: I did make mention on the RB's '03 thread that I do have a bad gut feeling about Deuce this year, but I realize that is a very subjective judgment and that objectively speaking Deuce looks yummy this year!)

| I agree. I would keep Lewis and McAllister. Very solid duo!! You can rely on TWO top 10 players for years to come. (I disagree with the yummy part of the above quote. I NEVER am going to say a football player, or any male, is "yummy" )
