Micharl Vick #11?  Ray Lewis #12?  Uh-uh, those two should be 1-2.

Ray Lewis is the best defender in the league - hands down.  He makes plays all over the field, he plays better and better in clutch situations, or on national TV.  He inspires his defense around him.  He is the most valuable defender in the league, and ought to be the #2 player on this list.

Right behind Michael Vick, who is already redefining the QB position.  A guy who can take his team to the playoffs with very little help on offense is not just "pretty good".  Vick is perhaps the most athletic QB the NFL has ever seen, and he isnt #1, I dont know who is!

Dillon at 43 doesnt look right either.

BW, great post for discussion!

But, generally, CBS Sportsline as an insightful resource of solid information... I don't even know how they stay in business sometimes with some of the overgeneralized misinformation they publish.  It borders on disinformation!

You'd put Portis over LT? Sophomore curse? Jake the Fake at QB? Aging WRs? Anyone?

Look at the list and you'll see that Portis is ranked higher then LT... mattman actually agrees with you.

I, on the other hand, do not. But I guess when you compare the lowly Broncos to the offensive juggernaut that is the San Diego Chargers, I can see where you're coming from...

You take Ray Lewis and let me have Derrick Brooks.
