He isn't Peerless Price and won't put up Price numbers. HOWEVER, he plays in a pass-happy offense and showed a lot of promise last year. He won't post huge numbers RIGHT AWAY, as he'll be adjusting to the offense and the #2 spot still, but in a few years, this kid could be huge if Bledsoe is still throwing the way he did last year.
I stated in another post that he has great upsides and will prolly post 80% of what Price did last year. Thats 75 /1000/7 TDS. Not bad for a late round pick as a #3. I got him off waivers last year in week 15 or so. Looks like it might pay off.
DOLFAN's more thorough take as well as my take on his take can be found there! But, by all means, continue discussion here! J. R. fits the premise of these "Diamond's in the Rough" theme threads to a tee!
As I stated earlier in the Moss thread, I would rather take a chance on a veteran having a "comeback" season , then go with an "up and coming" prospect. I guess I'd rather lose with a player I know... However, with Bledsoe at QB, Reed will certainly get a great chance to show his stuff, and I expect him to have a respectable season.
