Scoring 1 point per 10 yds rushed/received, and per 15 yards passed. All TDs are 6 points. 1 Point per reception.

Start 1 QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1Flex, 1TE, 1K, 1D
Flex can be RB/WR

Brady - QB
Portis - RB1
J. Lewis - RB2
Hambrick - Flex
Burress - WR1
C. Johnson - WR2
Mason - WR3
K. Brady - TE
Akers - K
NE - D/ST

Bench:
Warner
Buckhalter
M. Williams
Patten
Schroeder
B. Miller
J. Brown
STL - D/ST

Basically I'm torn between Hambrick, M. Williams and Patten for my Flex.

Well, this is all hindsight now, but I would have went with Warner over Brady at QB and Buckhalter over Hambrick at your flex position.  Sorry for chiming in so late! Been a busy morning!  Good luck, at any rate, Colaman!

Thanks for the response Steg.  I ended up playing Brady, and got a whopping 0.24 points from him.  Somehow still managed to pull out a win, despite 0 points from Akers to boot.

Now I'm faced with another problem.  Namely Warner.   We only have 2 roster spots for QBs, and as stated above, mine are Warner and Brady.  I can pick up Bulger, but would have to drop one of the QBs on my team.  Someone with lower waiver priority than me has requested Bulger, so if I want him, I have to act now.  Can anyone who is familiar with Mike Martz tell me what they think martz will do?  Will he start Warner again, or is he done?  Best available QBs other than Bulger are Harrington, Blake, and Fielder.  If I drop Warner, someone else will probably pick him up.  Brady I'm not sure - I guess it would depend on how he does next week.

Just based on the situation as you've laid it out, I wouldn't bullrush here.  Make no mistakes, though, I don't really like Warner this year.  I think he's going to end up a two-hit wonder and his career is coming to an end.  Brady I think will have much better days.  What happened this week is what happens when your opponent has your playbook (procured via Lawyor Milloy).  I would hold out for another week or so and consider one of those others you've mentioned.  Since everybody is limited to two QB's in your league here, there should always be someone decent available out there, someone worth the difference between bullrushing for Bulger now and waiting on Warner just a bit longer.  Of course, if you think Brady is going to have a tough week again next week against Philly, then... I guess you gotta' make a move now.  In this case, I would rank the four you listed in this order:  Harrington, Bulger, Blake, Fiedler.  It's quite close, actually.

I still think you need to stay with Brady as your starter... don't hit the panic button after one game.

I think Warner is done.  As far as backups, Harrington and Blake are intriguing in that they are on teams who will probably be throwing a lot because (1) they have weak running games and (2) they will be playing catchup a lot.  They both have decent receivers to throw to and athletic TEs who can make plays.
