It's time for the return of another one of our fun participatory threads here in "the Red Zone" (to go along with our "Red Zone PRIMED Players for the Week"). It is called "Red Zone Fantasy MVP's of the Week". Here, you are to list your key player(s) for the week, the one or ones that were key to your victory(ies). I really think we can have some fun with this! You can expect this to be up every Monday/Tuesday from here on out!

As for me,... I'll give mine after tomorrow night...
The Denver DEF, WRs Charles Rogers and Hines Ward.
These three were the key on topping 100 points total for the week, and if McNabb comes through tonigh(hopefully not, I don't need him for this week anymore) look for that score to get even bigger.
The obvious choices for me are Torry Holt and Priest Holmes. Great days for both.
But, my MVP came from an unexpected player. Mr Stacey Mack. While not scoring any TD's, he managed to post very good yardage numbers. His 8 points against that tough Miami Def was critical AND he outrushed the competitor, Ricky Williams.

Well, once again I lost my QFL game, picking up where I left off last year. I have to give my game ball to my 2 defensive linemen, Michael Rucker and Simeon Rice.
On offense, I guess Jamal Lewis gets it.

I'm going to throw game balls out to RB Priest Holmes, RC Chris Chambers and QB Doug Johnson, one at each of the major positions, for the one Week 1 victory I had. I split my two games in the league, though.
My game ball is going to the Tampa Bay defense. Those guys were incredible! They didn't get a lot of sacks or turnovers and they didn't score any TD's, but they were FAST and completely dominated Philly in the Monday night opener.
I'd also like to give an honorable mention to Tiki Barber, whose 146 yards on 24 carries (over a 6 yard average) was above and beyond what I had expected. Way to go Tiki!
