(I also put in a claim for Bulger on waivers, but won't know if I have him until Wednesday.)
I'm leaning ever so slightly towards Green right now. Both of the defensive secondaries did an adequate job of limiting the opponents (Brees and Boller - ) in week one. I think this one is almost a push, so I'm leaning towards the home team. Any thoughts?
(I probably wouldn't start Bulger even if I acquire him - we have a Rams fan in our league and I am hoping to use Bulger as trade bait - despite the fact he is facing a weak SF secondary.)
Peace to all this... You play Trent Green at home against that porous Steelers' pass defense. Don't let last week fool you! The Steelers were up against a true rookie at QB and a fairly weak set of receivers. They can defend against the run well, but make no mistakes about their pass D. It's not that good. Also, KC's defense, though not a juggernaut by any stretch of the imagination, will be much improved this season.
I would go Maddox here too. That offense seems dead set on throwing often. Trent will get his yds, but i think Holmes will get more chances in the red zone to run it in.

As I recall, Pittsburgh had one of the worst D's against the pass last season and one game against a pathetic Baltimore squad is hardly enough to call it a turn around. (Not that KC was any better.) I watched the KC/SD game last week and the KC offense was incredible in the first half. I like Maddox, but if I had $$$ on the line, I'd put it on Green, playing at home. (If this game were in Pittsburgh, I would go with Maddox.) Good Luck.
