First of all, WELCOME, nicklaus! I hope you enjoy the site! We like to think we're a good bunch! As for your claim about Faulk's rating here, where are you getting that? We don't provide weekly cheatsheets here. Are you getting that from JunkyardJake.com, a site that we work closely with by way of acting as their externally-hosted message-board forum? By the way, make sure to check your private messages! Link is in the upper, right-hand corner!

I can see how you would think that was "our" rating. I have a tendency to agree with you about Faulk. I don't think the Rams are as bad as they looked and should be in a closer game where they utilize Faulk more this week. I also agree that the 9ers aren't as good as they looked coming out of week 1. Did you read the new article Steg wrote? It is an interesting read, but (as usual) there are some points that I disagree with. One of the biggest concerns the Rams in general (therefore, by implication; Faulk): Quote:| Lastly, and this is more of a "stop believing the last 2+-years of hype that still persists even after Week 1 of '03", despite having solid bookends on their o-line, recently re-signed LT Orlando Pace and newly-acquired RT Kyle Turley, the Rams of '99-'00 are NOT coming back. Excuses are still being made and hype about the return of the "Best Show on Turf" is still being generated and perpetuated by many, even if it is with the concession that QB Kurt Warner may be done and that they may have to move on with QB Marc Bulger,... although there are still many Warner apologists. Stop buying into the hype, fellas! It's over! The '99 Rams are NOT making a return. If you are banking on it, you are going to find yourself on the short end of the fantasy football ugly stick more often than not. |
| I think there was something obviously wrong with Warner last week and they will regroup and put up good numbers as the season progresses. Maybe not quite like 99-00, but very close. Last year they almost broke through to that past glory with Bulger at the helm, and it would not surprise me to see that happen this week in a rebound effort.

| Statistically, though, with Bulger they weren't the fantasy MONSTERS they once were. They won games, but were statistically more even with the pack.

| Yep, he drops to the #7 or #8 spot now, depending if your value of Jamal Lewis has skyrocketed or not. I'd still give up guys like Dillon, Tiki, Taylor, Davis and Edge for him though.
