Fat Jake Has Some Questions

Fat Jake is playing against his league comm this week. He MUST beat him. Fat Jake is 2-2 and the comm 3-1.

It's a small 8Team $$ League.
*FIVE* point bonus for 100 rec/ru or 300 passing.
1/10 rec/ru, 1/25pa, 4/paTD, 6ru/recTD.

My team: Start 1 qb, 2rb, 3R (K & D Disregarded)

QB's: Bulger(bye), McNair (Collins, Carter, Brady, Fiedler, others avail on waiver wire)

RB's: SDavis(Starting), Hambrick, Pittman, OSmith, (Gordon/Faulk in bye)

WR's: Moulds, CJ, DJax, Galloway, Streets, JSmith.

Fat Jake wants to get MAXIMUM production from his team and wants to know who YOU would start.

Pickup Collins or Brady or Carter and start over McNair?

Who along w/SDavis? Hambrick vs AZ, OSmith at ATL, Pittman vs INDY?

Moulds, CJ, DJax....Moulds, CJ, Galloway.....Moulds,DJax, Galloway.....

Give Fat Jake some love. The ultimate challenge in FF is getting your BEST lineup on the field. It don't always work out that way but it HAS to this week. Share your knowledge Fellow FFer's. Fat Jake needs U this week 8)

Here is my humble opinion:

QB - McNair (good QB against a hurting D and he is better than the QB's on the wire

RB - S. Davis and Hambrick(against DET) - O Smith is splitting caries and Pitman is up against a strong D

WR - Moulds, D. Jax and Galloway (again its DET)

QB:  McNair has been great this year and his running game (i.e., Eddie George is on a downslide)... look for good numbers against an injury-decimated defense.

RB: Davis and Hambrick.  Davis is a no-brainer.  Hambrick put up 127 last week against the Jets.  Look for a similar effort against the Cards.

WR: Moulds (Cincinnati defense is improved, but Buffalo will have to throw the ball.)  Johnson (Cincinnati has no rushing game with Dillon out, so look for Kitna to look Chad's way quite a few times.)  Jimmy Smith (He's starting this week and Jax desperately needs some WR help for Byron Leftwich.  And they're playing a weak SD defense.)

Fat Jake shouldn't refer to himself in the third person.

McNair is a solid start this week against the injury depleted NE defense.

Davis is a lock, and I would also start Hambrick against the pitiful Arizona D.  Hambrick will also have something to prove against his former mentor (ESmith).

Moulds and Johnson are also automatic starts.  I would also lean towards Darrell Jackson over the other WR's, as the GB/Seattle game should also be a high scoring affair.  Galloway and Streets against inferior defenses are tempting, but I really worry about the Cowboys and 49ers getting up early and then their passing attacks disappearing.

Fat Jake thanks you for your input. But he doesn't want to play two players (Hambrick/Galloway) from the same team. Last year AZ beat Dallas 9-6. Fat Jake has also heard about the bold prediction made by OS's Head Coach. So he is considering starting OS and either DJAx or Galloway as the #3 receiver. Fat Jake says AZ is a little better against the run than many realize. But they give it up through the air. And ATL gives 150/game on the ground. Hmmmmmm.............Fat Jake says this focking Fantasy Football shiot can make your head spin if you let it and to not forget the generous bonus his league gets at 100 yards.

Well, I, for the most part, am just going to go along with the rest here...

QB - Steve McNair

RB - Stephen Davis and Troy Hambrick (despite what you point out about last year's game and Mike Tice's forecast for this week)

WR - Eric Moulds, Darrell Jackson and Jimmy Smith (I'd give the ole' boy the knod; I think he has something to prove; he always defies the odds, AND it gets you out of playing two 's)

Stegrock hit it right on the head.

McNair
S. Davis-obvious
T. Hambrick- wants to show Emmitt why he was shown the door

Moulds-obvious
D. Jackson-upside
J. Smith- has a lot to prove to his team plus a rookie qb that may lean on him and also a chance at that elusive first win

Wow... no love for Chad Johnson?  He's one of the top WRs in the game now, whether people want to admit it or not.  D-Jax is second-fiddle in Seattle...

They all did alright.

With J. Smith doing the best of the bumch.  Looks like a real no total loss situation.

:DFatJake sends his thanks. He stomped the commissioner 100- 68. 3-2 and alone in 2nd place and most total points to date.

Here is the lineup that won
QB-Mcnair ( Soooo glad I kept him in he lineup!)
RB-Davis
RB-Hambrick ( was outscored by both Smith & Pittman)
WR-Moulds
WR-CJ
WR-DJax
K-Elam
D/ST- Chiefs

JSmith went off and sat on my bench, and so did Pittman.
OSmith also outscored Troy "I disappeared in the 2nd half" Hambrick.

Nonrhteless, a W, and a big one!

Once again Fat Jake thanks U for your thoughts::)
