Yes....you heard it here first! From the GridIron NewsStand. (While I was researching who the RB in Detroit was going to be, I found this GOLD Nugget): http://www.freep.com/news/latestnews/pm16643_20031007.htm Lions rookie Rogers injured; out for six weeks Tuesday, October 7, 2003 BY CURT SYLVESTER FREE PRESS SPORTS WRITER Rookie wide receiver Charles Rogers, the Lions' leading receiver after the first five games of the season, suffered a broken collar bone Tuesday and is expected to miss 4-6 games. Rogers was injured during the first day of practice in the bye week, when coach Steve Mariucci was hoping some of his players would have a chance to get healthy. The incident occurred when Rogers and cornerback Dre' Bly became entangled in a spirited one-on-one drill early in the 90-minute practice session. Rogers ran a sideline route on a pass thrown by backup quarterback Mike McMahon. Rogers went down and Bly came down on top of him. Rogers was on his hands and knees on the field for several minutes, then walked to the locker room with trainer Al Bellamy, who diagnosed the injury and sent Rogers to Henry Ford Hospital for treatment.

| Thanks for the research DD. That's big news. Looks like he's out of the running for ROY.
