Which WRs to Start?

I must start two of the following.  1 pt per 10 yards, 6 points per TD, No points per recption.

L. Coles, D. Mason, A. Toomer, A. Lelie

I am pretty certain I will start Toomer but the other three are giving me fits.  Coles never does that well against the Cover 2 because it neutralizes his speed, I'v read that mason is banged up and Lelie is inconsistant and Plummer may not start....

It is anough to make me drink.

Who needs a reason to drink?!

I'll agree with you, Toomer and who knows, but Coles is almost must-start-each-week status.  I think you have to go with him.

Lelie is too inconsistent, especially if you don't get the rec points.  Mason may have a nice matchup due to Aaron Glenn being hurt, but it's still a tough call as it seems McNair does a nice job of spreading it around in the red zone.

Go with Toomer and Coles.

GOOD LUCK AND GO VIKES!

Man that's a tough call although Lelie doesn't even factor into the equation IMO. You have 3 #1 option WR's. I like Mason if healthy. I like Coles. And I like Toomer. In that order.

Now go pour yourself another.........

If it were my team, I'd go with Coles and Toomer. I'm not sure about this "cover 2" business, but I do know that Manning, Harrison and the Colts lit up my Tampa D last week... Coles will get the looks and is worth the gamble. Toomer has been the big play guy in NY (averaging over 22 YPC) and he should be a better option then an injured Mason and inexperienced Lelie. Good luck.

I have a different take here.  I would go with Coles and Mason.  Coles is due, after last week especially.  And, Mason could be in for a big day, alas, I mean at last.  He is due as well and the matchup looks !  Yea, Toomer is due too, but actually, I don't like his matchup.  Ultimately, I think you have a "good problem" here.  All three are probably going to be good-to-great plays today.

The bad news is I didn't play Mason, but the good news is I won anyway to raise my record to 5-1.

Steg wins by picking the correct two to start.

I feel your pain.  In one of my leagues I started Driver and benched Mason.  Of course, any time I started Mason in any league.....

The clincher is that when I was ratting around pre-game, I found Driver on the WAIVER WIRE!  So I picked him up and started him.  Mason is injured, even though they had few other places to go this week.  And so on.

Still think Driver will be the better bet down the road.  And I still have both of them in that league.
