It depends on your scoring system. If your scoring system doesn't overemphasize a position (RB or WR) my thoughts are as follow:
Defenses: Wash. I personally don't get too hung up on defenses unless they're at the very high end (TB) or rock bottom. In this case, they are too closes and one could outperform the other based purely on their weekly match up.
RB's: Holmes is clearly the better back. BUT, Davis is also a solid starter that has been a consistent weekly fantasy contributor in most scoring systems.
WR's: Harrison is clearly the better WR. Lelie has a lot of up side but he's young and won't be as consistent as Harrison. Harrison is also more likely to have "monster" games.
Looking at it another way, depending on your scoring system, Holmes (because of his receiving yards) should slightly outproduce Harrison. Davis will out produce Lelie and the defenses will wash.
I would try to trade a lesser RB than Davis or get a better WR instead of Lelie.
I wouldn't do the trade because Harrison is top 2 wr and S. Davis is very solid and main factor of the Panthers success.
Even though getting Holmes is enticing it is not worth it. Harrison and Davis are too solid.
To say Miami and Minnesota defense are a wash is a joke. Look at points allowed this year and previous years. Yes Miami gives up yards but not points and no one runs on Miami. Plus they get a whole bunch of INT's sometimes td's. Lst time I checked they also get more sacks. Minnesota wins because of their offense it doesn't make their defense top notch.
Remember last season who was the Raiders last loss before the Super Bowl. Answer Miami and the Bucs blue printed exactly what Miami did. TB rushes the qb slightly better a little better main lb brroks to thomas but Miamis cover men are a little better.
Remember you can't teach speed.
Sorry, just have to defend Miami's defense....

I may not be correct very often..........but I am always willing to give an opinion.
Nice job Cz. I agree. Holmes for Davis is sellable, but Harrison is too much to give up for Lelie IMO.
And I have no illusions about my Vikes D. They are still susceptible to the pass, and can't get any pressure at times. You will get 30 scored on you a couple times with them. Not with Miami.
IMO, stand pat.
GO VIKES!
