I would put it this way... 1) For now kind of, and probably for next year and even more so for the long-haul - Justin Fargas 2) Absolutely useless for now; maybe for next year and the long-haul - Chris Brown 3) Who knows? Maybe something someday, who knows when, but perhaps the best of the three in a pinch this year - Correll Buckhalter Of course, an injury to Garner, George, Westbrook, et al., could TOTALLY change that order.

If Vernon Haynes(Hayes) is still available, I'd go with him over those three. Many people in Pittsburgh,(including friends of mine) have seen Haynes play and feel that he is the better of the three backs, Bettis and Zeroue. People in the Pittsburgh organization also feel the same way, but for whatever reason Cowher just doesn't give him any carries this season. I guess this 'situation' can be compared to the Onterrio Smith/Michael Bennet/Moe Williams situation in Minny.

| Interesting... I remember hearing hype about him during the preseason. It might have even been mentioned in the "Steelers Offseason Report" thread. Anyway, so what is your take on the RB's he did ask about?

Chris Brown- I don't know much about him, nor have I heard much 'hype' about him either. The Titans seem to have been converted into a pass-happy team, so any production from Brown in the near future doesn't seem likely to me. Buckhalter- Of the 3 Philly backs, I like him the best. Again, though, as someone mentioned, he will most likely split time with Westbrook next season and the season after that, if someone is not injured, waived, or traded. Production, again, may be minimal in the near future. Fargas- Of the three, I like him the best. The Raiders are old, everyone knows this. In two to three years, there will no longer be a Rich Gannon, Jerry Rice, Tim Brown, and Charlie Garner. Instead enter Marques Tuiasopo, Jerry Porter, Doug Jolley, Teyo Johnson and Justin Fargas. Again, in the near future, meaning next season, I still don't see much production from him. Though in two to three years this will be the top of THESE 3 backs. My choice is still Vernon Haynes. It's hard to predict future production. For all we know Rudi Johnson may be a pro-bowler next season. Though, based on gut-feeling, hype, and what I've seen, Haynes is my clear-cut choice.
