McNabb or Lefwich??

At the beginning of the season, who would have thought I'd be asking this question.  I need to start either McNabb or Leftwich this week.  I hate to pull McNabb out of my line-up with the Eagles facing the Jets.  Also, based on published reports, McNabb has had a good week of practice (so he should play the entire game).  Should I take one more consecutive chance on McNabb??

I would go with Leftwich.  Jacksonville usually plays Tennessee tough and, if anything, the Tennessee D is vulnerable to the pass.  I would also just avoid playing McNabb, period.  I actually think the Eagles are in A LOT of trouble this week against the Jets, who seem to be gaining steam and confidence.

The only reason McNabb has a chance of doing anything is the injuries in the Jets secondary.

Leftwich plays a Titans team that is "vulnerable against the pass."  And his own secondary isn't so hot.  So he'll have to throw a lot for scoring.

True, Leftwich is still a bit of an unknown quantity, but what we know about McNabb would make me want to dump him if I had him.

I'd take a shot on Leftwich.

I have to go Leftwich here also as McNabb just isn't producing just now.  I am starting Leftwich myself this week. If you got him this is the week to start him. Some bye week rest, some extra work, favorable matchup. Like Steg says, The Jags are generaly up for games against the Titans.

Thanks for your input!!  I feel the same way.  I just wanted to bounce this off everyone in the forum to see if I was actually thinking strraight!   In the scoring formats that some of my leagues use McNabb has actually posted a zero for me.   Now THAT hurts!
