A. Harris was a great pick up for me last week.  He helped me to the top of our league at 6-2.  What I need to know now is what to do with him.  Should I hold on to him or try and trade him.  There are several teams in need of RBs and I think I can combine him in a trade for M. Bennett or D. McAllister.  My other starters are S. Davis and M. Pittman.
Thanks for your help.

I'm not sold on Michael Bennett - as I've pointed out a few times now.  I can't believe he's going to come back from injury, a foot injury moreover, and start putting up even 2nd RB-type numbers.

If you can get hold of Deuce McAllister, on the other hand, do it in a heartbeat.  You're very solid with Davis and Pittman, and Harris won't be the guy for the rest of the season.  As soon as Faulk is ready, he's back and Harris will be getting spot carries at most.

WHAT!

Whaddya mean you're not sold on Bennett!!  BLASPHEMERS!

Alright, I guess if I take my purple-shaded goggles off, you're probably right.

Back on topic.   If you can get Deuce, you gotta do it.  Despite NO's poor offensive showing, he's still a Top 5 or 6 back.  Who do you think you'll have to throw in to get him?

You won't get anything for Harris, Faulk is back this week.

Harris is the classic "1 WEEK WONDER." True he got 3 Tds, but if Mario Bates would have gotten 34 rushing attempts he would have had 3 TDs too. He only averaged 2.3 YPC. Whomever picked him prolly won their games this week...IF they started him.
I think the reason they ran so much was becasue Harris doesn't block well and still does not know the offense. Rather than take a chance on getting Bulger KILLED. Although he did throw it 37 times.
I would trade him as fast as you can to Faulk owners for anything you can get. Otherwise he will turn out like Mike Cloud...alot of interest for 2 weeks, then tossed back on the wiaver wire, like a friday night whambam slut!

This is what I think I can do now.
In trade;
# 1 - A. Harris for D. Foster - to back up S. Davis

# 2 - M. Pittman, A. Toomer and my 4th round pick next year
for McAllister, D. Mason and his 8th round pick next year.

I am sitting in 1st at 6-2 and 2nd in points.  This would give me a good shot at winning my league.  I don't think a 4th round pick and Pittman is alot to give for a top 5 running back.  And I'm tired of waiting for Toomer to have his breakout game while Hilliard gets all the TDs.  Am I giving to much?

What would be the problem with getting Bennett, I. Bruce and D. Jackson for Harris, L. Jordon and T. Edwards?  In this case I am willing to take a chance on Bennett

But what a good little whore he was!

I agree, get whatever you can for him now, as Faulk is at worst a week away from returning.

If this is not a keeper league, you do these trades.  They are good deals.  If this is a keeper league, you definitely do these trades.  They are great deals!
