Trade input

I'm looking for input on the following proposed trades:
Trade 1
In a yardage & scoring league:

I get Priest Holmes & Bobby Shaw

I give up Randy Moss & Shaun Alexander

My WR- Mould, Boldin, Andre Johnson, Jerry Rice, Moss

My RB- Tiki Barber, Alexander, Duckett, Fargas, DeShaun Foster

I don't want to give up both Moss & Alexander

I am considering counter offering:

Moss, Barber & David Carr for Kelly Holcomb, Holmes & Rod Smith

Trade 2

In a scoring league,

Daunte Culpepper & Onterrio Smith for
Drew Bledsoe & Shaun Alexander

My QB- Bledsoe & David Carr

My RB- Alexander, Ahman Green, Marcell Shipp

Any input on Trade 1, Trade 2 or both is appreciated

Thanks

Regarding the first trade, I would go with a simpler tweak rather than try to convolute the trade/make the trade bigger, which "may" cause it to not even get done (and, not to mention, I don't like that variation you proposed).  I would just go "down" at receiver and just hack off the Shaw throw-in.  I would try to move Boldin or Johnson or Rice or even Moulds, who I am leary of right now for the rest of this season, and Alexander for Holmes, PERIOD.

As for the second deal, I would do it because it fits your team like a glove and you can afford to do it.  BUT, I would try to see if I could get a different player than Onterrio Smith.  Hypothetically, something like Culpepper and a guy like Bettis, Dunn or Staley for Bledsoe and Alexander sounds more right to me.  I don't know...

Good luck! And, WELCOME to "the Gridiron", friend!

Do what he said...

Like you said, don't get rid of Moss and Alexander unless it's for Holmes and (Holt or Harrison).
