I'm staying away from Raiders until I hear more.  Rumor has it that they're looking to sign a vet from somewhere.  Don't know more.  Meanwhile, Tee Martin is promoted from the practice squad.

UPDATE - They signed Rob Johnson....

I think happiness is watch them being 2-6.  Damn those lucky wins against the Bengals and Chargers.  If they wouldn't have gotten lucky and beat the Bengals their slogan for the year could have been ........

Lions, Tigers, and Bears...oh SHIT!!!!!!!!!1

Oh well even in my misery as a Dolphin fan at least we aren't the Raiders.

Unlike the Dolphins, the Raiders actually got an excuse. They're just to old and aren't as talented as they once were. On the other hand Miami, is on paper, a talented balanced team, so what's their excuse?

Since we're comparing apples and oranges here...  The Pats were 4 - 4 the season they went on to win the Super Bowl.  I don't think a team has ever been 2 - 6 and won the Super Bowl... or even been in it.

I had a weird premonition ( I won't call in a dream, Steg would have too much fun with that one) that Elvis Grbac was signed by Oakland to finish out the season...
