Dont bench your studs! Not sure if you saw the game WAS played vs DAL last week, but QCarter was lighting them up, and if his receivers could hang on he'd have had a huge game. So Hass probably isn't too bad a start either, but McNair is the league MVP right now. WAS pass D is poor, but I'd still go with McNair.

We have a 14 team league and all the QBs you mentioned are taken. The only QBs that will start are K. Kittner or R. Meir. I agree that TO is worh more but he is in last place and wants to "shake hings up". I'm going to see what he wants and see if we can work a deal. This would be my team; QB - McNair, Brady RB - S. Davis, McAllister, Bennett, Foster WR - Harrison, TO, D. Jackson, Mason and Calico TE - LJ Smith K - Vanderjagt D - MIN

If I could get it, I would do that trade you mention in a heartbeat, DC. Brady is a statistically solid QB, especially to have as just a back up, and Terrell Owens is still a blue-chip player, recent drought notwithstanding. As for your starting quarterback for the week, I am in complete agreement with Philly and captainpurple. It's not so much "Don't play Hasselbeck!" as it is "Don't bench McNair!" if you follow.

The trade went through, but not in time for this weekend. My new team looks like; QB - McNair, Brady RB- S. Davis, McAllister, Bennett, Foster WR - Harrison, Owens, D. Jackson, Mason, Toomer and Warrick TE - LJ Smith K - Vandrjagt D - MIN I have plans to get P. Holmes and improve my D. Any other suggestions?

| What are you going to have to give up for Priest Holmes??? I think you could use a better D, and should be able to get one without giving up too much. The point I'm trying to make is that if you are 7-2, and you just improved your team even more, don't do too much more tinkering.

No, I don't want to "tinker" to much, your right. With the schedule that Holmes has, I think its worth a try. These are the 2 offers I'm concidering. Bennett, TO and MIN for Holmes and NE or S. Davis, Toomer and MIN for Holmes, Gardner and NE (I think I like the first trade - Start Holmes, S. Davis and McAllister/ Harrison, D. Jackson and Mason or Toomer) The guy was thinking he would make he playoffs but it doesn't look good for him. He is 4-5 and this week will be close. If he won't see the post season, he will trade Holmes to me. What do you think?

| If you can swing either of those deals you should probably go for it. The first one is obviously the better one for you, but the second one would work too.

In my division, I am 8-2(by the skin of my teeth) and 2 teams at 7-3. The team that has Holmes is 5-5. The 3 top teams in each division move on. He has said he will put a deal together if he can't make the post season. It does not look good for him w/ 2 games to go. Even if he backs out, my team looks strong. I just need a better D Which would you go after, TENN, DAL, STL, SF or NE?

Here are the scheds for Tennessee and Dallas, the two best defenses listed. TEN: Jax, @Atl, @NYJ, Ind, Buf, @Hou, TB DAL: @NE, Car, Mia, @Phi, @Was, NYG, @NO If Week 14 is important to you, maybe you don't want your defense playing Indianapolis. When are your playoffs/championship games?
