WHo should I start at RB/WR?

I assume you guys never get tired of these types of questions.

My league awards 1 point per 20 yards rushgin and 1 point per 15 yards receiving with 6 points for any TDs.

My starters are Mcallister and D.Davis at RB, Coles and Ward at WR.

Then we have a utility position which can be either a RB or a WR, this is where my quandary lies.

If Stephen Davis can't play Sunday do I play

Foster vs. the Skins, George against the Jags or Jerry Porter against the Vikings?

I'm fighting for a playoff spot and I'm playing the 1st place team this week, so I really don't want to screw this up.

Eddie George is my vote.  Skins have a decent run defense & porter hasn't really done anything yet to earn a start over a solid RB.

1. Davis - gotta play him if he's good to go.
2. George - will have the most opportunities of the rest.
3. Foster - still a question mark, but has plenty of potential.
4. Porter - not sure about Mirer as a QB and his ability to get the ball to Porter.

Stephen Davis returned to practice Thursday and expects to play Sunday against Washington, the Charlotte Observer reports. "I'm a lot better than I was last week," Davis said. "I'm pretty sure I'll be out on the field Sunday." Davis sat out last week against the Buccaneers with a sore ankle and missed practice Wednesday. He went through Thursday's workout with no apparent problems. "We'll continue to evaluate it, but there were no setbacks," coach John Fox said.

Looks like he'll play.

As goody points out, Davis is gonna play.  You go with him.  If he somehow ended up not playing AT ALL, i.e. if he were OUT for the game, I would go with his backup, Foster, who would be due for a nice day and is going up against the right team to have a nice day on.  That said, if he were "kind of" out, like "questionable", I would go with George.  BUT, Davis is going to play, dude. Rest easy!
