| New Orleans can't stop the slashing style running back. Last time Atlanta played New Orleans, Dunn had 6 carries for 89 yards and a TD. (I think he went out with a 'tweak' injury.) AND, BETTIS IS LISTED AS QUESTIONABLE ON THE OFFICIAL INJURY REPORT. He hurt his shoulder last game. http://www.nfl.com/injuries Go with Dunn.

49ers lose Winborn for rest of season By Cam Inman CONTRA COSTA TIMES SANTA CLARA - Linebacker Jamie Winborn's season with the 49ers has come to a stunning end because of a herniated disk in his neck. Winborn, whose speed and versatility helped key the 49ers' aggressive approach on defense this season, apparently injured his neck during Wednesday's practice. But he practiced again Thursday before undergoing an MRI Thursday night that revealed the extent of his disk. "The MRI revealed a significant disc herniation in his neck that will not allow him to return to play this season," team doctor Robert Millard said in a statement. "The injury does not require surgery at this time." Added 49ers coach Dennis Erickson: "There's a narrowing of the spine, a bulging disk. So he can't play." Winborn technically wasn't one of the three starting linebackers, but he typically played as many snaps -- if not more -- than any of the starters, primarily on passing downs. "We build packages around his ability," defensive coordinator Jim Mora said Wednesday. "We try to utilize him the best we can." The 49ers now will utilize more of second-year linebacker Saleem Rasheed's abilities, who also offers speed but lack's Winborn's experience and big-play history http://www.bayarea.com/mld/cctimes/news/breaking_news/7265340.htm More info is better!

On the other hand...Bettis is injured, and everyone is talkin' Zereoue this week. Zereoue's size against the under-sized Niners is a factor (and the injuries mentioned), and the Niner injuries do not necessarily translate directly to Bettis. Dunn is seen around town as the big deal in the ATL O after last week. But he has Duckett as another RBBC. And NO is tough against the run. If I had to choose, I'd go with Dunn. Mainly because of Bettis' injury and because of Zereoue. Also, although I don't think this matters as much, Dunn had 314 yards rushing and three touchdowns in the last three meetings with the Saints.
