Hasselbeck, Bulger or Pennington?

Who would you start this week?

May be a late question. But I can think of a lot of reasons for all of it.

Those are all pretty good options, Call!  I would go with Bulger, though.  It's the old "cycles/due" thing and we are talking about the Rams here.  Bulger's "due" AND the Bears are ripe!  In order, I would go:  Bulger, Hasselbeck, Pennington.

I would definitely go with Hasselbeck.  Detroit has been very "friendly" versus the pass.  They've given up an average of 222 yard passing per game and have given up 15 TD's.

Pennington would be my second choice because Indy's defense has been stingy versus the pass giving up an average 199 yards and 10 TD's.

Bulger scares me a bit because he's cooled.  Chicago has played respectably versus the pass and if Bulger struggles it wouldn't surprise me to see a "Warner" sighting.

Bottom line, given the three options for the week I'd start Hasselbeck.

All are good choices. Bulger has the most potential to put up a big game out of the three. He unforntunatly has the potential to put up the smallest game.   Hassleback and Pennington are more solid picks. I think it should boil down to how confident you feel about your matchup with your opponett this week. If you feel outmatched and need somebody to explode then roll the dice and hope Bulger creams the Bears. If you feel more confident about your matchup plug in Hassleback. The Seahawks have had a tendency to play down to there opponets level but this is Detroit after all, can they go that low? I think not. I like Pennington alot and he really hooks up with Moss and somebody else and that other guy what ever their names are.

Hasselback because Detroit has ZERO defense.

I had to choose this week between Hassel and Bulger went with Hasselbeck. I felt he was a safer pick this week even though Bulger has the potential to blow up this week. I also have Holt and if Bulger blows up I'll get good points from Holt. Hassel safer pick, Bulger risky, could have 0tds or 3tds and 350yds.

My original pick was Hass, but I'm always afraid of the picks.  Also afraid of a ground control game if it's in the bag too early.

And Chad always has a wonderful game - if I don't play him. (Last season and this season!)  And he has to keep up in the scoring this week.  That means passing and S. Moss.

I'm protecting the playoffs for myself, here.  So that's why I was concerned about Bulger.

Thanks for the advice!  Any and all is greatly appreciated.  I'll keep watching up till game time. :)

Just read this:

"Detroit at Seattle - It will be rainy and windy at Seahawks Stadium
today. The temperature will be 49 degrees at kick-off, but the wind
will make things tough for everyone on the field because they will be
at 25 mph most of the game."

Also:

"St. Louis at Chicago - Conditions today at Soldier Field will not be
ideal, with fog and light drizzle in the forecast."

Jets play in a dome.

Thoughts, anyone?
