I just read that Fargus tore his MCL.  Is this right?   Is Garner coming back this year?   I picked up Wheatley last week, will he be the RB in OAK for the rest of the season?   With Pittman not doing much the last 2 weeks, I need Wheatley to be the guy.

Yes, Fargas tore it.  More tests today.

Here's what the Guru Report (very good premium service, I recommend it) said about Wheatly:

"Tyrone Wheatley (Oak); Well, there you go; if he's starting for the injured Charlie Garner he's a solid option. The Raiders are running much more with Rick Mirer in there for obvious reasons. He won't get to face the Vikings again, and his schedule is tough after this week against the Chiefs, but if he's starting, he's certainly serviceable."

That pretty much says it all.  If he's the feature and it's a good match-up, he could help you.  Especially with Mirer needing to hand off, Rice slowing down, Brown dropping balls.....(break my heart ).

P.S.  Like I said on another thread, consider Sammy Morris of the Bills if you have a slot.  If Henry is out for a while, Morris could get the bulk of the carries.   Today the Bills are saying Henry could be out for a while.  And Morris may be available now.  In earlier days, the Bills considered starting Morris over Henry.  He may have something, if you can afford the gamble before someone else gets him.  The Bills need a solid RB, we know that.  Just a thought.
