...  Well, he is returning, in any event.  What do you guys think?  Emmitt's done, no?  At this point he is just stunting the growth of Marcel Shipp, right?  I really think Shipp could thrive in a Terry Allen kind of way in Denny Green's offense, but only if he gets the chance.  As such, do you guys see Green dissing Emmitt in favor of the upstart Shipp?  I, for one, do.  Or, one further, do you think Emmitt's performance in '03 proves he is done?  That, I'm not absolutely 100% sure of though that is what my gut instinct tells me.

Where is the Cardinals Off Season Thread?

"Arizona Cardinals' Smith Promoted to Starting RB
Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green, in somewhat of a surprising move, has elevated RB Emmitt Smith to the No. 1 back on the team's depth chart. Smith hasn't started a game since the fifth game of the 2003 season, when he gained minus-1 yard on six carries and suffered a fractured scapula.

Arizona Cardinals' Shipp Demoted to No. 2 RB

Darren Urban, of the East Valley Tribune, reports Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green has demoted RB Marcel Shipp, who had been the team's starting tailback, to the No. 2 running back position."

Have they been taking AFC West lessons?
