Looks like signing Steve Smith to an extension is a high priority.

Also, it looks like being superbowl runner up is attracting some free agent attention:

Pat Yasinskas, of the Charlotte Observer, reports Philadelphia Eagles CB Troy Vincent, who is about to become an unrestricted free agent, said the Carolina Panthers would be at the very top of his list if he enters the free agent market. "I would love the opportunity to go to Carolina. It's home for me," Vincent said.

I am not sure if you all saw this, but at the end of the Eagles-Panthers game, Fox went up to Vincent.  They had a quick brief discussion.  I would not be surprised if a little recruiting was not going on then.  They looked "too" friendly.

Anyone have any word on the Steve Smith injury.  He went down awkwardly after a tackle and it has been reported that he has a hampstring injury.  I also heard a muscle cramp.  Either way it does not seem to be too serious but I am curious if there are further reports.

Nothing definitive yet... just a hammy injury that doesn't seem to be concerning too many people.
