Well, it's officially spring! And, as per "the Gridiron Newsstand", it looks like with the warm weather on its way, Warren Sapp will be heading north... to Bengal Country: http://www.orlandosentinel.com/sports/football/pro/buccaneers/orl-sptbuc s20032004mar20,1,4784181.story?coll=orl-bucs; http://www.bengals.com/; http://bengals.enquirer.com/2004/03/19/bengals19sapp_web.html. BIG acquisition for the Bengals! He may be well beyond his prime physically, but he could still definitely contribute to a young upstart Bengals squad who has a defensive-minded head coach. Most of all, he brings HIGH ENERGY, veteran savvy, a winning attitude, and playoff and Super Bowl experience.

| Rudi doesn't lose any leverage at all. He wasn't going to get any offers being tendered at a 1st and 3rd round. The Bengals have a year to sign him or he becomes an unrestricted free agent. Look for him to get a contract similar to the one Barlow got.
