Opinions on what McGahee is worth? He certainly hasn't proven anything yet. Though, I keep reading about how much talent he has. How quickly he is coming along w/ his past/present injury.
In contrast, I also read that his fame & fortune were made in college partly/mostly due to the fact of the talent around him.

Whats everyone's opinion!!!???

I think he'll be hard-pressed to take too much time away from Travis Henry right off the bat.  If Henry starts fumbling or gets injured, or McGahee really makes the most of the spot carries he'll receive, then it could get interesting.

I imagine that Mularkey will give him some limited carries this year to see what he has.  Henry still has a couple years on his current contract (thru 2005) and McGahee has four years left on his.  I'd imagine that Henry will play extensively this year and then the Bills will look to move him in the off-season because he'll be looking to cash in on his next contract.

So, for a keeper league, I'd be very interested in having Henry and/or McGahee on my roster.  If it's a re-draft league, then Henry would be the safe choice at the end of the first or beginning of the second rounds.

Generally speaking, I agree with the Philster.

For a bit of a more detailed, albeit indirect, analysis of the situation as I see it, go to the following thread:
