WINDOWS 2004 - Baltimore Ravens

No, this isn't a new Microsoft operating system release.  This is your opportunity to share your statistical "windows" for players on each of the NFL teams.  Our fearless leader (and founder of the FantasyFootballer.com Gridiron), StegRock, refers to these statistical ranges as "windows" and, to show, due deference, I will continue that modus operandi.

Every day or two I'll post a new team.  Put your estimated 2004 statistics for players on that team in the thread.  If enough people participate, these threads should produce some pretty helpful information for player rankings leading up to your drafts.

Feel free to give windows for as many players as you feel confident.  If you play IDP, go ahead and include some defensive player statistics as well.  You can just list the player with the windows or you can give reasons for your rankings as well.  Discussions of others' rankings are welcome too.

QB:
Kyle Boller: 2500-3000 PaYds, 14-17 TDs, 16-20 INTs
I just don't care for this guy as a QB, especially a FF QB with a run first system.

RB:
Jamal Lewis: 1450-1600 RuYds, 11-13 TDs
Musa Smith: 150-200 RuYds, 2-3 TDs
J-Lew won't have quite the season he had last year, but he will still post great numbers.

WR:
Travis Taylor: 600-700 ReYds, 4-5 TDs
Kevin Johnson: 750-900 ReYds, 6-8 TDs
Devard Darling: 300-400 ReYds, 0-1 TDs
Nothing to get excited about here.  A better QB could certainly make these numbers better.

TE:
Todd Heap: 800-900 ReYds, 5-6 TDs
Heap should enjoy a fantastic season and be a top tier TE once again.

I do plan on doing my IDP'ers babe-bee, just hang on to T.O.'s spandex that your borrowing (and wearing ) from him and I'll get it on here. Just to let everyone know, I am single   with multiple Chick-a-Sauruses that demand my ever-so-SWEET-HONEY-BEE-KING-LIKE attention so,..........but I'm bout to whip something up here.

Key:
TK = tackles combined.
PD = pass def.
SK = sacks.
TO = all turnovers which includes Interceptions, Fumble recovries & forced fumbles.
DTD = def. TDs.

Although these are "windows" meaning that there should be a range for each player, instead I will comment after each position and give my analysis as to whether or not you can up or down those stats based on fleet FF opinion.

LB
Ray Lewis: 185 TK, 5 PD, 3 SK, 9 TO, 2 DTD.
Peter Boulware:50 TK, 4 PD, 6.5 SK, 2 TO.
Terrell Suggs: 85 TK, 4 PD, 15.5 SK, 14 TO, 1 DTD.
E.Hartwell: 120 TK, 3 PD.
Ray lewis is a MONSTER in real time and in fantasy football. Suggs will lead the league in sacks this year!

DL
Marques Douglas: 75 TK, 3 PD, 6.5 SK, 4 TO.
A.Weaver:35 TK, 6 PD, 6 SK, 1 TO.
Def. Linemen aren't the Ravens strength but, look for Weaver to increase his stats this year!

DB
Ed Reed: 75 TK, 10 PD, 2 SK, 6 TO, 2 DTD.
C.McAlister: 45 TK, 15 PD, & TO, 3 DTD.
G.Baxter: 95 TK, 11 PD, 3 TO.
Baxter stays at CB this year and will be picked on because McAlister is on the other side. Reed will also get MORE stats on Special Teams as he is a FF stud. If the league finally figures out that McAlister is a STUD CB, look for his stats to drop as I have somewhat indicated here..

QB
Kyle Boller - 2200 - 3100 yards, 12 - 19 TD's passing & 250 - 350 yards, 3 - 4 TD's rushing (really )

RB
Jamal Lewis - 1400 - 1800 yards, 11 - 15 TD's rushing & 200 - 400 yards, 3 - 4 TD's receiving

WR
Travis Taylor -  900 - 1150 yards, 5 - 8 TD's receiving (I really believe this is his year to break out if he ever does; Billick has indirectly shown confidence in him by depleting the receiving corps, so... time to shape up or ship out)
No others worth mentioning from a fantasy perspective!

TE (this tight end is worth mentioning)
Todd Heap - 650 - 950 yards, 7 - 11 TD's receiving (always got to play up the downside of receiving yards for tight ends as, really, you just never know)

I actually believe that Kevin Johnson will have a better year than Travis Taylor.  At the very least, he should be a solid #3 WR for a FF team.

QB:
Kyle Boller: 2600-2800 PaYds, 15-17 TDs, 15-17 INTs
Do yourself a favor and don't draft this guy.

RB:
Jamal Lewis: 1600-1800 RuYds, 11-13 TDs, 200-250 ReYds, 0-2 TDs
Chester Taylor: 150-250 RuYds, 1-3 TDs, 75-125 ReYds, 0-1 TDs
Jamal's legal troubles and injury history make it worthwhile to keep an eye on Taylor and Smith.

WR:
Travis Taylor: 600-700 ReYds, 3-5 TDs
Kevin Johnson: 850-950 ReYds, 5-7 TDs
Kevin Johnson will benefit from a new address.  He may be one of the most underrated WRs this year.

TE:
Todd Heap: 600-800 ReYds, 4-6 TDs
Heap needs to be used more than he is.  Having a little better receiving corps this year will actually hurt him.
