WINDOWS 2004 - Jacksonville Jaguars

No, this isn't a new Microsoft operating system release.  This is your opportunity to share your statistical "windows" for players on each of the NFL teams.  Our fearless leader, StegRock, refers to these statistical ranges as "windows" and, to show due deference, I will continue that modus operandi.

Every few days as we lead up to the regular season, I'll post a new team.  Put your estimated 2004 statistics for players on that team in the thread.  If enough people participate, these threads should produce some pretty helpful information for player rankings leading up to your drafts.

Feel free to give windows for as many players as you feel confident.  If you play IDP, go ahead and include some defensive player statistics as well.  You can just list the player with the windows or you can give reasons for your rankings as well.  Discussions of others' rankings are welcome too.

Be sure to scroll down the list and find the Windows for other teams and contribute there as well!

QB
Byron Leftwich: 3200-3400 PaYds, 20-23 TDs, 15-18 INTs
Leftwich should show some more improvement this season, however he isn't quite a #1 FF yet.  Watch out in 2005.

RBs
Fred Taylor: 1200-1400 RuYds, 6-7 TDs, 250-350 ReYds, 1-2 TDs
LaBrandon Toefield: 450-500 RuYds, 1-2 TDs
Greg Jones: 150-250 RuYds, 6-8 TDs
Fred Taylor avoided injury in 2003 and had a great year.  Even if he stays healthy in 2004, look for his TDs to get vultured by rookie Greg Jones.  Toefield will be a solid choice if Taylor gets hurt.

WRs
Jimmy Smith: 1100-1200 ReYds, 6-7 TDs
Reggie Williams: 700-800 ReYds, 3-5 TDs
Troy Edwards: 400-550 ReYds, 2-4 TDs
Jimmy Smith should have a solid year while tutoring Reggie Williams.  Williams is an attractive rookie option as he should be inserted into the starting lineup from day one.

TE
Kyle Brady: 300-350 ReYds, 3-4 TDs
Don't bother...

QB
Byron Leftwich: 3000-3600 PaYds, 22-25 TDs, 13-17 INTs

If Leftwich goes down, watch out for David Garrard. He could start for most teams.

RBs
Fred Taylor: 400-650RuYds, 3-5 TDs, 150-220 ReYds, 1 TDs
LaBrandon Toefield: 650-700 RuYds, 1-2 TDs
Greg Jones: 750-850 RuYds, 6-8 TDs

I say Taylor goes down, Toefield lights it up for a few games early on, then dies away, and Greg Jones turns in one of the best rookie RB campaigns this year in only starting 5-6 games.

WRs
Jimmy Smith: 1200-1350 ReYds, 6-7 TDs
Reggie Williams: 850-1000 ReYds, 3-5 TDs
Troy Edwards: 200-350 ReYds, 1-2 TDs

Note: Watch out for ERNEST WILFORD! The talk out of camp reminds me of Anquan Boldin last year! Reggie Williams had to miss the early camps because he had not yet graduated and Wilford thoroughly impressed the coaches time and time again, but they've also tried to keep it quiet like the Cards did until Game 1 last year. Look out, he may become more productive than Reggie, but I look for it to be more of a very nice 1-2 punch for years to come.

TE
Kyle Brady: 200-350 ReYds, 3-4 TDs

Oh, and yes, Jonny's back.

Wilford is a guy I really liked coming out of college.  He made some nice catches at the Senior Bowl too.  I was hoping he would slip down some more and the Eagles would grab him, but they got TO instead... alas.

BTW: Welcome back Jon!  We missed ya around here.
