Stacey Mack close to signing with the Giants

The NY Daily News is saying that the Giants are on the verge of signing Stacey Mack.  I know (as a Giant fan) they had a problem with short yardage and goal line touches.  Do you think he fits the bill??

He handled that role well in Jax.  This makes one wonder how Dayne is really looking in camp.

In the same article they say that Dayne is down to 233 and seems faster.  But he has never been big banger in the hole for short yardage.
