No, this isn't a new Microsoft operating system release.  This is your opportunity to share your statistical "windows" for players on each of the NFL teams.  Our fearless leader, StegRock, refers to these statistical ranges as "windows" and, to show due deference, I will continue that modus operandi.

Every few days as we lead up to the regular season, I'll post a new team.  Put your estimated 2004 statistics for players on that team in the thread.  If enough people participate, these threads should produce some pretty helpful information for player rankings leading up to your drafts.

Feel free to give windows for as many players as you feel confident.  If you play IDP, go ahead and include some defensive player statistics as well.  You can just list the player with the windows or you can give reasons for your rankings as well.  Discussions of others' rankings are welcome too.

Be sure to scroll down the list and find the Windows for other teams and contribute there as well!

QBs
Tommy Maddox: 2700-2900 PaYds, 16-18 TDs, 13-15 INTs
Ben Roethlisberger: 750-900 PaYds, 5-6 TDs, 5-7 INTs
Maddox will start the season and play for most of it. He could have some nice games with the weapons he has, but he can't be counted on. Ben will get some time this season, but is not worth a pick in a redraft league.

RBs
Duce Staley: 850-975 RuYds, 5-6 TDs, 350-450 ReYds, 3-4 TDs
Jerome Bettis: 500-600 RuYds, 7-9 TDs
Duce will get the majority of carries and should be able to get into the endzone enough times. Bettis will be the short-yardage and goal-line back and should score a fair amount.

WRs
Hines Ward: 1000-1200 ReYds, 10-11 TDs
Plaxico Burress: 900-1000 ReYds, 5-8 TDs
Antwaan Randle El: 450-550 ReYds, 3-4 TDs
Ward and Burress aren't happy, but both will still play hard. Ward for an extended Steelers contract and Burress to showcase his talents to the rest of the league. Ward is a top 10 WR and Burress could finish in the top 20.

TEs
Jerame Tuman: 200-300 ReYds, 2-3 TDs
Jay Reimersma: 175-250 ReYds, 0-1 TDs
Hey, someone has to block if the O-line isn't going to...

QBs
Tommy Maddox: 2600-3200 PaYds, 16-25 TDs, 15-19 INTs
Ben Roethlisberger: 300-700 PaYds, 2-4 TDs, 3-5 INTs
These windows are wide open.  If it wasn't for the addition of Roethlisberger, Maddox would be set up for a great year.  Addition of Staley helps out passing game tremendously.

RBs
Duce Staley: 900-1000 RuYds, 4-5 TDs, 350-450 ReYds, 2-3 TDs
Jerome Bettis: 250-350 RuYds, 4-6 TDs
Zereoue beat out the Bus last summer - Staley will relegate him to a short yardage situational player.

WRs
Hines Ward: 1150-1350 ReYds, 10-11 TDs;  60-85 RuYds 1 TD
Plaxico Burress: 950-1050 ReYds, 6-7 TDs
Antwaan Randle El: 450-550 ReYds, 2-3 TDs;  125-175 RuYds, 1-2 TDs; 60-80 PaYds, 1 TD
Don't forget to project the rushing and passing stats for Ward and Randle El.  You have to love watching Hines Ward - he is a 'real' football player.

TEs
Jay Riemersma: 225-275 ReYds, 1-2 TDs
Jerame Tuman: 175-225 ReYds, 1 TD
Until proven otherwise, do not draft a Steeler tight end.

QB
Tommy Maddox - 3250 - 3600 yards, 17 - 21 touchdowns passing

RB
Duce Staley - 750 - 1025 yards, 4 - 7 touchdowns rushing & 250 - 350 yards, 1 - 4 touchdowns receiving
Jerome Bettis - 650 - 900 yards, 5 - 8 touchdowns rushing

WR
Hines Ward - 1100 - 1300 yards, 9 - 12 touchdowns receiving
Plaxico Burress - 800 - 1200 yards, 4 - 8 touchdowns receiving (windows wide-open for Burress; this is a contract year and, moreover, a make-or-break season for him.)
