Who should I start......??

OK, I am in a dilema. I have to start three wide receivers in a league and I only two are sure things. We are scored on yardage and touchdowns. Two of my starters are Torry Holt and Joe Horn. For my third WR do I start: Donte Stallworth against Seattle. He had hit or miss games last year. I would have the market on the Saints offense since I start Brooks and McAlister. Quincy Morgan vs Baltimore-- With Kevin Johnson gone, he is clearly a starter. However, they will also have Winslow, Andre Davis, and Northcutt to throw to. Plus Baltimore has shut down corners. Justin Gage vs Detroit-- Had a few good games at the end of last year, but numerous questions remain. Eric Parker(available in Free agency) vs Houston-- He plays for San Diego. Scarey enough. Any insight would be appreciated. Is this a no brainer and I am just over analyzing? Or is this a tough decision and I am just over analyzing. I would love nothing better than to beat Mr Stegrock in week one to teach him some humility. Thanks!

Seattle actually has two decent corners now after adding Bobby Taylor (along with Marcus Trufant). Your next best option is probably Justin Gage vs Detroit; that may be safer, but sometimes safer doesn't win. Was that ambiguous enough ? Obviously a tough call. JYJ :^) |
| Not to miss the point of this thread but, last I heard, Booby Taylor was the nickel back and Ken Pucas (thats lucas) has beaten him out for the starting corner job. Stallworth should blossom this year Dirk babe-bee and they are playing in a dome which would exentuate Stallworth's speed. Too bad you don't get points for long bombers cuz, thats where Stallworth's worth is going to rocket this year. I don't like Qunicy. Parker might not be a bad choice (no one really knows at this point). I also like Gage since Detroit's secondary took a bit of a hit w/ injuries (though minor) in preseason but, Rex didn't look all that great either and Marty Booker - their go to guy is gone - might effect other receivers to begin with? I like Stallworth or Gage.

You can't start all those 'Aints! Rule #3 in the book of FF, "Put all homerism aside, and take advantage of those who don't!". You're throwing everything into the NO basket, which is very risky. Take Gage, as he has the best chance of the options you listed. Good Luck!
