Q Griffin at top of trade value?

So is Q Griffin the next Terrell Davis?   Or was this a flash in the pan against a weaker than last year KC D?

My 'homer' Denver fan offered me Bennett for Griffin straight up.   I'm tempted, but Bennett has seen a lot of injuries this last couple years.

Thoughts?

I still believe that Tatum Bell is the next great thing at RB for Denver, but Q is going to make it very hard for him to see the field.

Q's value right now is as high as it will probably ever be, but I wouldn't trade him for Bennett right now.  Like you said, Bennett missed most of 2003 and is already missing a minimum of 3 games in 2004.

I would shop him around, though, and see what other offers you can get.

I wouldn't trade for Bennet. Q might never perform like he did in week 1, but he certainly has more value this week than Bennet. I was offered J. Lewis for Q and was even questioning that trade!

whoa!  At draft time, would you have even considered taking Q in the first round?   NO WAY!  But after 1 game vs a weak D, you're only considering a straight up trade for a top 5 back?  I'd jump all over that one!

I'm not only looking at this week though.  I have Ahman, Rudi & Fred Taylor going this week.  Q is just sitting on my bench, and obviously, so would Bennett.   I'm trying to decide if Bennett is worth it down the road, or if Q will be a 1500+ 15TD RB.

I'm not sold on Q yet, and I have the Q for Bennett offer sitting in my court.   I just have to accept.   Any thoughts?

Thanks!

I would pass on the trade.  I don't like Bennett because he can't stay healthy.  I also happen to like "Q" even though he went against a soft defense in week #1.  He player well last year when given the chance and I like what I saw of him in the pre-season.
