Holmes said to be doubtful in a very preliminary report from KC with an ankle sprain. Derrick Blaylock is noted as his probable replacement if he misses this week.
It sucks to be a runningback today, who's got the voodoo doll ?

RB Priest "Holmes is considered doubtful-to-questionable this week with an ankle sprain. The injury is not considered a high ankle sprain, so they are just going to wait and see if he heals up this week."
Sorry, no link yet, because:
"The Chiefs really kept this one quiet and might come under scrutiny for it."
AFC West stuff.

From "the Gridiron Newsstand"... Related news items: Holmes listed officially as questionable; Kennison as well; Johnson, who could see an increased role if Holmes were out, disparaged by Vermeil... All respectively presented...

(I've been waiting to use that one. Sorry Callie!)
I heard the same thing. FBG reported "Our sources in Kansas City report that in today's practice, Holmes looked surprisingly good. He was able to participate in about 3/4 of the work. Coach Dick Vermeil appeared extremely pleased with his progress."
For what it's worth!
