This rumor has been floating around all week.  I have seen nothing to really substantiate it.  Even if he goes to Tampa Bay, it may not matter.

In my opinion, if you are in a legacy league or if you have a "turd" on your roster, it may be worth the gamble.  Otherwise, I'd pass.

Q: Larry Johnson's name has been all over the media--that you've called Philadelphia and Tampa Bay to deal him.

VERMEIL: I haven't talked to anybody. As far as I'm concerned he's not tradable. In fact, Larry Johnson had his best football practice he's had since he's been here. Today. I think that's a great sign.

Q: Was he wearing number 31?

VERMEIL: He was wearing number 31 and he was running like number 31. You know, there's two number 31s on the field at the same time. Two real good ones.
