Hey everyone. Standard scoring league, start 2 RB. I have the opportunity to upgrade at RB via trade for either Deuce McCallister or Jamal Lewis. I'm leaning towards Deuce, although I have enough RB depth to not be afraid of Lewis's suspension.
though deuce hasnt shown that much yet i would lean towards him cause of the passing game the saints have...hard part about jamal is that everyone knows he is gonna run the ball....the saints can mix it up and be effective...
Id agree above also. Deuce has started out slow but is more versatile with his ability to catch passes. Also, with the Saints having Brooks, Stallworth and Horn, defenses cant just focus on Deuce like teams can on Jamal Lewis. Deuce is due to break out.
Teams know Jamal is going to run, and he does it anyway. If you can weather his absence without too much pain, I'd prefer him over Deuce. Deuce doesn't score enough. I know Deuce has only played two full games so far, but he still hasn't scored a TD. Jamal has almost a TD a game so far.
It's a tough call, since I like both of these guys. But, I've been a big J-Lew supporter for 2 years now, so I think if it were me, I'd take Lewis over Duece.
