Some fresh ideas

I am off to a bad start......1-4-1

I need some fresh ideas. I don't think my team is that bad, but what do you guys think I should do as far as trying to find a trade. This is standard scoring 12 team league

Qb  Vick Harrington
Rb   Droughens Lewis C.Taylor F. Taylor Suggs
Wr   Toomer Driver Patten Muhammed
TE    Witten Wiggens
K Wilkens
Def  Jacksonville

I know I am deep at Rb......should I try to trade 2 rb for a Moss or Holt type?

Opinions..........

I wouldn't trade 2 of the RBs, 1 should do (unless you package  CTaylor/Lewis - I see them as one), but yes that would definitely help. Either Lewis/CTaylor, FTaylor, or Droughns is worth any WR in the league; with the possible exception of Moss and TO.

Maybe even do a second deal packaging Suggs and one of your QBs to get a better QB.

Someway you have to turn your RB depth into more points at another position.

Is this a keeper league?  If so, then your QBs could have some decent trade value.  But, like bgsgfan said, you need to upgrade both QB and WR.  Reuben Droughns is a very hot commodity right now.  Find the guy who is always looking to add the latest guy off waivers and offer him Droughns for a #1 WR.  Droughns could be the next TD or Portis, or he could be a fill-in for a few weeks who disappears again... who knows, but his value is probably as high as it will get, so shop now!

not a keeper league.........I think Vicks value after a good week would be high. Do you think I could get a Manning or Cullpepper for Vick and Fred Taylor?

Right now, I think you could offer your entire team and not get Culpepper.  If I had Culpepper, I wouldn't be fielding many offers unless they blew me away (and Vick + Taylor doesn't).

I don't know if you could get Manning either, but you could probably get a Hasselbeck (who is traditionally a stronger QB in the last half of the season) or someone who is a little more consistent than Vick and Harrington.

I just offered a guy LT2, Bennett & Vick for CPepp & Edge, he didn't even consider it.  I think you're right on here.  No way you can give up CPepp right now.

I'd keep that open (put him off), but what I would really try to do is get Harrison or Holt or Ward or Andre Johnson or Roy Williams (etc.) for just one of those RBs.

The negotiations are over and this is the best offer I am going to get

LT and Travis Henry

4

Droughns, Fred Taylor, and Jason Witten

I have until Thrusday night to pull the trigger..........I have another option that I can work on Marvin Harrison. That guy needs a RB badly and I right now offered him Fred Taylor for Harrison straight up.

Opinions??????

I really like both trades. Maybe you can get both done by offerring Henry for Harrison?
