I've been offered Hasselbeck for Roth. 2 weeks ago, I'd have been tripping over myself to hit Accept as fast as I could. But BigBen is showing a real ability to post solid games, with few mistakes. I can get 15 from him almost every week. Sure, I can go with Vick and hope for 30, then get -2. I can bench Vick and watch him notch 25. I never know, but with Roeth, I'm looking at a solid 10-15. What do you think? Is Hasselbeck worth giving up my solid, dependable guy?

| A couple things to consider... in week 16, during most FF league championship games, Big Ben will be throwing against the Ravens while Hass is facing the Cards. Sure the Cards are improved, but I'd rather face them than the Ravens. Secondly, Hasselbeck consistently posts better second half (of the season) numbers than first half. What is Big Ben's history? Obviously, we don't know. Many rookies do hit that proverbial wall after 10 or 11 games (because they've never played more than that in a season). Finally, consider that Hass could be losing K-Rob (rumor of an upcoming 4-game suspension) and throwing to Jerry Rice and Bobby Engram in his place. With all that, in a redraft league, I'd still want Hass over Ben. (In a keeper league, Ben is the better choice.)
