trade ???

i offered another team Holt, Wheatley, and Testaverde for Hasselback & Kennison.

my team record is record 4-1-1

QB - Harrington, Collins, Testaverde  [start 1]

RB - CMart, D Davis, Wells (Davis backup), C Taylor (bye week starter for Davis),                 T Bell & Wheatley   [start 2]

WR/TE - Gonzalez, Moss, Holt, Lelie   [start 3]

K - Wilkins

IND DEF - Brady Smith

DEF - Baltimore, Ten, Buffalo

12 team 3 division redraft league
Scoring - longer TD = higher score  (ex.  5yd td = 3pts, 50 yd td = 15 pts),  1 pt every 25 yds WR & RB, 1 pt every 50 yds passing QB [plus K & DEF pts - not an issue for this trade]

i think Hasselback is much better than all 3 QB's i have and Seattle seems to have a favorable schedule the rest of the year - plus Hasselback usually a second half QB.  plus he now has Jerry Rice - the greatest receiver of all time to throw to.

i dont need Wheatley (he's not that good anyway) - i can use C Taylor for Davis bye week.  i have Wells if Davis goes down but no one to back up CMart but if i get this trade i would drop Collins and pick up Lamont Jordan for insurance.

i have Moss (STUD), Gonzo (stud - playing well), & Lelie (also playing well, and then i would have Kennison (back from injury and looked good sunday)

i feel the trade just comes down to Holt for Hasselback which i think is pretty close to even.  but Hasselback has more weapons to throw to and Holt isnt the only one being thrown to on his team.

i dont play the guy i'm trading to the rest of the year (already beat him) - only possibility is playoffs.  plus he would then have Vick & Testaverde as QB's (doesnt scare me), LT (stud) & Wheatley (doesnt scare me) as RB's (he has no other starting RB), Holt (stud) and a bunch of mediocre WR's (Price, Bryant, T. Brown, Burleson, Hakim, Warrick, C Wilson and A Gates & Eric Johnson to chose from), Dawson - K and Detroit DEF.

sorry so long but what do you guys & girls think??

thanks for the input.   KC

who's on the WW in your league?   I'm leaning to a   , but if there's a Big Ben or a Harrington or a Leftwich on the WW, I'm not sure I'd give up Holt for Hasselbeck, as 1 of these 3 might be enough.

Quinn is still available!

To listen to Bear fans, he was going to single-handedly win 3-4 games for them!

That's some pretty thin pickens on the WW.  You could maybe make a go of it with Griese, the way he's been playing, but that's a pretty shaky maybe.

You're definitely upgrading the QB spot, and you've got enough depth to cover the loss of Holt (at least as much as possible).

Go for it!
