1) i would start mcnair againest a weak minnesota defense in which looks like will turn into a shoot out...mcnair will have many chances to air it out....

2) i would play buffalo defense.....yes buffalo!  i dont think the ravens will be able to do much on offense with the return of milloy it will only get tougher not to mention there is no jamal.....points should be low and turnovers should be high....i expect this to be a FG game.

3) thomas jones seems to be putting up solid numbers no matter the opponent so i would go with him and also michael pittman is facing a weak defense and he has yet to break out...i expect that this week......and lastly i would play jimmy smith if that is him.....colts can score alot of points and smith will be leftwichs main target in his late game comeback for the win...

I really like McNair's match-up against a Minny defense that allowed 31 points to the Saints last week.  Plus Tennessee may be somewhat limited at the RB position if Brown is still ailing.  Bulger faces a Miami defense that has shut down a lot of good QBs, so go with McNair.

Tough choice.  Both are solid defenses, though I think the Ravens are the best.  But if we look at the offenses, the Bills can run the ball with McGahee/Henry and have some threats at WR in Moulds and Evans while the Ravens are missing Jamal Lewis and are terrible at WR and QB.  Take a chance and go with the Bills defense this week.  (Wow... did I just say to sit the Ravens defense???)

Do you mean Jimmy Smith?  (Is this a flex position?)  If it is him, you've gotta start him against a weak Indy defense.  The rest of them are shaky.  I'd go with Jones, just because he is getting the job done, although I don't like his defensive match-up.  Then I'd probably go with Pittman, just because I think that Seattle will have to kick things into high gear this weekend and will probably shut Emmitt down.

So, are you an Eagles fan?  Also, judging by your screen name, you're 35 years old?

yo, philly -- i am from philly and always been a big eagles fan.    no, i'm not 35.    # has to do with my job.

yes its Jimmy Smith and there is a flex position.

i was also leaning towards BUF def cause Balt QB/WR position is just bad and Lewis is out.  BUF has been playing better latelyon O & D.  they got me a nice TD last week while BAL was on bye week.  the big thing i need from def/st is some type of TD anyway.  that is gonna count the most for me (int's, FR, sacks are great but TD's usually make the dif in a fantasy matchups in my main league - longer the td = higher points)

add on ??    Vandy vs JAC or Carney @ Oak?  Carney has almost twice as many points as Vandy so far but i'm leaning towards Carney cause of matchup.  thoughts?

thanks.   KC

nothing to add onthe first part as I agree with everyone else.  McNair, BUFF and sit Emmitt.

As for the add on:

I think Vanderjerk.  NO can put up pts, but gets stopped a lot.  I don't see NO running the ball on OAK, so field position could be hard to come by.   VJ will have some XP for sure, and JAX D is still good enough to get some stops.  If JAX D stops them, I think it'll most likely in FG range as it's just too tough to stop Indy until you've got the EZ as a backdrop.

Good Luck!

1. McNair, vs. the swiss cheese Minny passing Defense.
2. Buffalo, for reasons mentions by Soso and Philly
3. Jones, Pittman, and Jimmy. emmitt should be shut down vs. SD.
