Dump Delhomme?

Should I dump Delhomme? Plummer is my starter (week 10 bye) and Rattay, Palmer, McCown, Collins, Griese, Fiedler and Volek are some of the free agent QBs. My sense is to wait until after week 10 to dump Delhomme. I would probably pick up Chatman or another defense if I drop Delhomme.

Everything seems to make sense so far. However, am I better off with Rattay or Delhomme starting in week 10? The two teams are playing each other. Is Rattay better against the Panthers than Delhomme agains the 49ers? The Panthers defense is showing some signs that they may turn things around. I obviously have to also think about a good year long backup, in case Plummer is injured at some point. Rattay has more fantasy points than Delhomme, despite playing two fewer games than Delhomme. My thought is to dump Delhomme in favor of Rattay. What are your thoughts?

I just noticed that Rattay is questionable for Sunday with a forearm injury. It is apparently less severe than the forearm injury that kept him out of action earlier in the year. Erickson and Rattay both say that he will play this weekend. With the injury in the picture, should I still pick up Rattay? My sense is yes. He has a lot more upside than Delhomme and the injury does not sound too bad.
