Need my 4th WR.

Have Hakim, who is injured and may not play.

Available in the order I like them:

B. Lloyd vs CAR (waivers)
P. Price vs TB (FA)
Hilliard @ AZ (FA)
Stallworth vs KC (FA)

like either of these better than Hakim?   I'll have to drop Hakim to get on, but I don't think I mind that right now.

I like Lloyd.  He has put up pretty good numbers when Rattay plays.

I agree. When Rattay plays, Lloyd puts up decent numbers.

i don't think Rattay is going to play is he?   last I read he was still hurting.

Carolina is terrible vs. the run.  No one is even trying to pass the ball on them.   Does that hurt Lloyd?

I already advised Price to another GridIroner, and wonder if I should take that chance too.

Rattay was still slightly sore last week, but he played and put up decent numbers.  I'd expect him to go again this week and the Panther defense has been horrendous.  I'd definitely go with Lloyd.

Rattay is feeling strong.  He cancelled a test (MRI?) that he was to have on his forearm.  Rattay is definitely starting, barring some freak accident between now and Sunday .

The Panthers' run defense is very pourous and SF should take advantage of this fact.  However, the 49ers seem to like to pass the ball.  My guess is that the ball will be in the air for much of this game.

Price has some upside, but he has the very inconsistent Vick throwing the ball.  Price is not a bad call.  I just think the Lloyd will do more.

Yeah, but the CAR DBs could be in the mix for Lloyd, and Rattay may have less garbage time scoring since the score may stay closer than what's happened before.  And keep in mind that CAR has only allowed 4 passing TDs so far.  Barlow may get the love, since DT Jenkins is not there for CAR and the CAR secondary has held up.

Of your choices mentioned (other than Hakim), I would play Price, but I'm not too crazy about him either.  If Hakim is OK to go, and if you have lineup submission times that allow you to check it out on Sunday, I wouldn't rule out Hakim because Williams could get double coverage.
