You've posted in the right place, rider! We don't make the stupid (unnecessary) distinction between asking about players "in general" versus "with respect to one's roster/lineup" (we make different, more "reason-able" distinctions). However, THANKS for being thoughtful enough to ask. Moving right along,... I'd go with Droughns AT HOME against Oakland. Martin is banged up (he may not even play from what I hear, but correct me if I'm wrong) and so is Brown. Based on health alone I'd go with Droughns. Then, considering matchup and venue, Droughns becomes the even more obvious choice. Just don't expect many, if any, touchdowns. His yardage should be great, though. Good luck! Oh, and yes, I'd pick up Ricky in a heartbeat! What the hell!

Play Droughns. The Raiders have a horrible run D and the D front in general is awful. Droughns at home, Droughns has his way with the Raiders, and this will not be a game where the Broncs have to keep up with scoring with a passing game. (Sigh.) If you need a second pick, Martin. But this probably will be a low score game because both teams can rush the passer and the game can be won without running the legs off an injured Martin. And they also have Jordan to help out. Also, the Cards have been playing better. Brown seems like a go for this week, but if his toe is still an issue, Smith could split carries. The Texans have only allowed three rushing TDs this year. If they manage to allow any this week, it could go to either one. As for Ricky as a keeper pick-up, the first question is how many guys do you get to protect and who are they. If you don't have studs you need to slot as keepers, why not take a flyer on Ricky? Worse case scenario, if things start to go south early on you can keep an eye on the situation and jump to trade bait for players or draft slots while the price for Ricky is still high.
