Even though, as per my Broncos report, I like Putzier this week,... but specifically as a tight-end, I would go with Bennett against the Texans.  I just think Bennett's upswing WAY outweighs Putzier's (perceivedly/allegedly, albeit by me included, good) matchup and points bonus he, as a tight-end, gets in your system there.  A good game for Putzier would be 50 yards and a touchdown, anything more than that would be a reach, and the touchdown can hardly be penciled in, no less counted on.  Putzier's and Bennett's respective downsides are probably about the same, but Bennett's upside is through the roof as has been demonstrated this season.

Takin' this one down a "between the 20's" type path as well (it's okay; the thread's already started)...

In this league, soso, how do you feel about this type of incorporation of tight-ends you describe above?  I think it's sketchy.  If a league wants to incorporate tight ends, you can a) just include a tight-end category, i.e. incorporate tight ends qua tight ends, or, if that is undesirable to you as it is to many (like me), b) extend the number of receivers that need to be played out far enough so that tight ends (qua receivers, but not qua wide receivers) become valuable and desirable to have on your roster.  Especially the way tight ends are EXPLODING on to the scene this season,... but ultimately in any case, this way of including tight ends by way of trying to make them equal in impact to wideouts by awarding them more points for receptions and yardage seems VERY FORCED and undesirable.  When things are forced like that, it eventually/inevitably comes back to bite you.  This coming of age of the receiving NFL tight end this year might just be that wake-up call you and your leaguemates in this league need to heed.  What is your take... from within the system?
