Ahman Green?

Is there ANY chance that Green starts this week?  I've read the reports that he hasn't practiced and that Davenport is ready but I need to make a decision by noon as to whether I start Green.  The reason I may be willing to gamble is that my other option is Larry Johnson.    Thoughts?

Yes, Ahman Green does have a chance of playing Monday night, but it will be a gametime decision, and he will reportedly be wearing a protective flack jacket.  He may at least share carries with Najeh Davenport, but  Davenport may be the better option.
 
In any event, Green is definitely a better gamble than Larry Johnson, who probably won't see the field (again).

Hindsight is always 20/20 but I took the steep gamble of starting Johnson over Green.  I know Blaylock was banged up and thought Johnson had a better chance of stepping on the feel.  Very lucky choice!!!!

Ahman Green is definitely OUT for the Monday night game, Chumpzilla, congratulations on the great gamble you took on Larry Johnson.

Ouch is right, that was some shitty advice.  But considering that Larry Johnson had 11 carries for 40 yards in 2004 coming into yesterdays game (and 20 carries for 85 yards in all of 2003), it took a large sack of tomatoes to start him.  
 
So the real question now, besides how does Chumpzilla walk around with that large a sack, is when does Larry Johnson see the field again, unless he is traded to the Dolphins by next week.

This is one I won't "go to the well" again on.  I have serious doubts that Johnson will see the field again.  I'm going to get busy on the waiver wire and hope Green is back next week versus Philly!
