First week of Playoff - Week 14

Got in playoff with last spot for wild card as #6 seed of 12 team league--would like to hear feedback on my lineup for week 14 first round .  I'm playing against my opponent who beat me for the division title on the last weekend (in week 13) in regular season.  Our playoff starts now and we're facing each other again. I would like to beat him this time when it counts the MOST! <grin>

 My roster:
J Plummer
M Hasselbeck

L Johnson
D McAllister
B Westbrook
T Minor

C Johnson
M Muhammad
D Jackson

T Heap
A Gates

B Cundiff
M Vanderjagt
S Graham

D Steelers

I just picked up Cundiff in waiver pool due to the Saints being the best team to play against for the opposing kickers.  I could go with Vandyjagt but it could be just all PATs if Peyton throws TD bombs all game long.. Here's my lineup and let me know if this is the best  lineup to use for this weekend.  We use 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 K and 1 DT format. We take td's and yardage combined for scoring.

WEEK 14 Starters:
Hassleback
McAllister
Westbrook
C Johnson
D. Jackson
M. Muhammed
B. Cundiff
Pitts DT

ON BENCH- Plummer, L. Johnson, T. Minor, Gates, Heap, Vandy and S. Graham.

My dilemna is whether to start Gates or not who has scored well all season long with the exception of last week against Denver.  Will TB Bucs' defense do another similar lock-down on Gates as Denver did and go with what I have in my proposed lineup?

It's hard not to start good WRs over good TEs. The 3 WRs you have have been playing well as of late. Even though Gates is money, I think you have chosen wisely. I like what you have, but Gates could score just as easily as Muhammad or Jackson can...

First and foremost, BD, to "the Gridiron"!!!  Glad to have you here and hope to see more of you in the years to come!!!

As to your question, I basically agree with BW's take.  I think Jackson and Muhammad are good plays this week and you just can't pull Johnson out.  You do, you'll get burned for sure.  Murphy's law!  I agree with the rest of your choices!

So, good luck and thanks for signing on, friend!
