I'm in a 6 team 4th qrtr league.  I drafted Dillon and SA, but picked up julius this week.  seeing as how jones ran all over sea, and no one is worse on def. than NO, do you think I should dare start him over one of my studs?   thx.....Dullo

Exremely hard to sit the NFL's leading rusher in Alexander and it will be close, but Dillon against his former team and Julius Jones might  be your best options.

I agree. Start Dillon and Alexander. Jones is hot, but he is a rookie....

I wish I had your problems!

So...that said...how can you lose?  Here is what I'd do.  (I don't think you'll lose any way you play it.)

Jones - Saints are giving up 152 rushing yards per game.  At home against these guys (as you obviously know) he will definitely go crazy.

Alexander - He should do great, but what if he's in a shoot-out against the Vikes and gets taken out of the game?  I think the run will be more than expected on both sides, but it is a factor.

Dillon - CIN can't stop ANY RB, and Dillon has issues with 'em.

If it were me, I would start Jones and Dillon.  Go with your gut.

i would definitely start Jones (at least 130 yds + 2 TD's) but toss up between Dillon & Alexander.

some stats to consider:

Alex vs MIN - 23rd against run, 24th pass
Dillon vs CIN - 31st against run, 12th pass
Jones vs NO - 32nd against run, 32nd pass

other factors to consider:

*if NE goes up big Dillon will prob be taken out after he hits 100 yds to rest for playoffs/keep him from being injured - they did it last week and played Faulk the rest of the game.
*Alexander plays the whole game no matter what - could always break one at the end when def is tired - 32 yard td run last week in 4th quarter.

i really dont think you can go wrong no matter which 2 you choose.
i wish i had to make this decision on my team.

Good Luck.  KC

I agree 100% with kc here (although not really for all those "numbersy" reasons).  My quarters say Alexander and Jones.  But, hey, the crystal ball of the guy sitting next to me says Alexander and Dillon.  And, the little funky liquid-filled 8-ball thingy of the guy sitting next to him says Jones and Dillon.  So, your choice is really between my coins, this guy's crystal ball and this other guy's 8-ball thingy.  Crack heads unwittingly go with guy #3; mystics and neo-hippies go with guy #2...  I like a sure thing even if it is just 75 cents.

Good luck (as if you need it)!
